Empire Abo

In 2005 Frontier Field Services purchased 100% of the Empire Abo Plant and gathering system from BP America Production Company.

The Empire Abo Gathering System consists of approximately 40 miles of 3 – 22” low-pressure pipeline. The Empire Abo Plant is a 56 MMcfd refrigerated cryogenic plant with approximately 16,000 hp of compression, which provides producers with low-pressure gas gathering service. The plant also has amine treating and a three-bed Claus sulfur recovery unit. Residue gas outlets are Transwestern and Public Service Company of New Mexico. Natural gas liquids are delivered into Chevron's West Texas LPG Pipeline.
